PE Footwear Letter
As the poor wet weather now seems to be upon us it is essential that we ensure students wear appropriate footwear for PE. This is to safeguard our students from potential injury during Football/Rugby modules. Health and safety regulations mean students must wear a studded boot in PE lessons during Football & Rugby modules. This is to reduce the risk of slipping over on wet grass & protecting feet during contact sport. Click here for more details.

Thank you for taking an interest in our Academy. This is an exciting time to join The Oakwood Academy as we have recently become part of the Redhill Academy Trust; a local outstanding provider, operating under the experienced and nationally recognised leadership of Executive Principal, Andrew Burns.

We believe examination success provides our students with the best opportunities in life, therefore we have the highest expectations of our students and we are ambitious for them to achieve their academic potential. In addition, through engagement in the wider aspects of school, students develop skills required for further and higher education and skilled employment.

The Oakwood Academy is committed to ensuring students feel safe and secure. the experienced and dedicated pastoral team will support students to make the right decisions, engage fully in school life and monitor academic progress.
