Welcome to The Big Wood School website.

Thank you for taking an interest in our school. Big Wood School benefits from a wonderfully spacious and light building, set in beautifully landscaped surroundings. We believe this provides an inspiring learning environment in which our pupils can flourish.

We have high expectations of our pupils and we are ambitious for them. We believe that every young person is special, with unique talents, skills and qualities that should be recognised and nurtured. Our core purpose is to ensure that pupils of all abilities and backgrounds have high aspirations and that they are supported to fulfil their academic potential.

I hope the above gives you a flavour of the work we do, but to really appreciate Big Wood School, I suggest you contact us to arrange a visit, where you will have an opportunity to tour the school, see the pupils at work and have any questions answered.
